The Carabao Cup holders face a tricky test tonight as they take on the Seagulls for a place in the quarter-finals. Arne Slot will be wary of the threats on the south coast tonight, and will again be without Diogo Jota.
Slot has lost his 100 per cent away record as Liverpool manager with Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Arsenal and the Reds have a history of fourth-round exits in this competition, an omen Brighton will be looking to repeat tonight at the Amex Stadium. “Very good idea about football for many years already. I like their playing style a lot with their former manager already and with this one as well.
